Inspired by works like Bewitched and The Office, Three Wishes is a magical realism comedy short film about believing in magic, but most importantly, yourself. Visit our fiscally sponsored campaign for more information. Produced by Tony Gapastione and starring Belgica Rodriguez, L. Duarte, Amy Boyd, and Shoana T. Hunt.
Logline: After discovering a magic mug that grants her wishes, a burnt out insurance agent plots revenge against her work nemesis, who steals a promotion from her.
A little about me, the writer/director/co-producer:
Shawna Khorasani kicked off her film career with a full-length literary webseries based on Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac. Since then, she’s taught herself everything she knows by taking classes, networking with other filmmakers, and working on set every chance she got. She loves telling feel-good stories about women, the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and other underlooked groups. Shawna is most known for her award-winning lesbian teen romcom short film LoverGirl, which played in over 15 film festivals and has amassed 2 million Youtube views. Three Wishes is her 5th short film.
