Join Three Sisters Gardens (TSG) for an evening of laughter, community, and farm-to-fork food! We will be featuring comedians Chad Opitz, Aurora Singh, & David Rodriguez. Dinner will be provided by local chef Chef Pau.

Sales from this event will support Three Sisters Gardens Urban Farm Youth Leadership Development Program, where we teach at-potential, high promise youth how to grow, harvest, and distribute fresh, organic vegetables to low-income & food-insecure homes in the Broderick community (Community Giving Program). Chad Opitz is a comic whose hilarious and unique perspectives make him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and sometimes even song, Opitz' writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work.

Chad has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He was a featured performer at the 2016-2024 San Francisco Sketchfests. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn's "Best Newcomer" award. He is a regular paid feature at Punch Line San Francisco and Sacramento, Cobb's Comedy Club as well as at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club and San Jose Improv. He's been invited to perform for High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver, Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. and headlined the B4UDie Comedy Festival in Anchorage, Alaska.

Chad has been featured in several short films and commercials, including Walgreens Red Nose Day to help end child poverty. He was cast as "young Francis Ford Coppola" for the 4th season of Amazon Prime's Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton.

He's opened for Michelle Wolf, Melissa Villasenor, David Cross, Brian Posehn, Scott Thompson, Christopher Titus, Gad Elmaleh, ISMO, Rob Schneider, Neil Hamburger, Taylor Tomlinson, Tom Green, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brooks Wheelan, Steph Tolev, Caitlin Peluffo and many more.

David Rodriguez is a comedian from Southern California who turns his unusual life experiences into short and witty comedic lines. He travels all over California to joke about his family, dating, and other parts of life he finds absurd. He has won two standup comedy competitions at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club in Sacramento, and has performed in showcases at both Punchline Comedy Clubs in Sacramento and San Francisco. He also competed in the 2024 Roast Battle California Cup.

Some call her a rare breed, I would agree, Aurora Singh blessed her immigrant parents with her arrival into the world in January 1992 and continuously doused her sparkle upon the world as she grew up in Sacramento, California in the good ol’ Catholic school system. You won’t regret the deep belly laughs you experience as a result of her hilarious straight forward real comedy. After 9 years of bringing the funny, Aurora has been featured on Sirius XM, ABC’s The 100K Pyramid and has performed with incredible comedians such as Sheng Wang, Greg Fitzsimons, Anthony Jeselnik, Roy Wood Jr. and Hasan Minhaj. She has also entered the college and cruise markets now taking her reach nationally! Her mom has even been quoted saying, “she’s hilarious!” Ready to ride the giggle train? All aboard!

Chef Pau is a Filipina, born and raised on the island of GUAM. She's trained in Euro-asian fusion cuisine and her culinary style is influenced by the flavors of Guam, Asia and the Pacific. Growing up on a very small island, she has learned to source ingredients locally and to appreciate and respect the natural resources around her.
