A Specials Weekend where some of our talented guest performers throughout the year get to take the main stage on a weekend night. Check out one or all; it's a guaranteed good time, perfect for that early holiday gathering or just a night out on the town. Here's what's coming up:
Friday, November 22@ 8pm, 6 JULY 1957: A SILENT EXPLOSION. On July 6, 1957, a significant event occurred- the day John Lennon met Paul McCartney, marking the beginning of an era. This meeting, likened to a silent explosion, would soon lead to a global phenomenon known as the British invasion.
In this exclusive event, attendees will gain rare insights into the Beatles' history along with seldom-seen photos. Banjo player Rod Davis and drummer Colin Hanton from John Lennon's first high school skiffle group, The Quarrymen, will share their stories, providing a unique perspective. Colin Hanton, the first drummer to perform with John, Paul, and George, will offer firsthand accounts and experiences. Additionally, the Beatles' music will be performed live by JPGR: The Beatles Tribute in an exclusive, one-of-a-kind show, making it an evening to remember!
Saturday, November 23@ 8pm: THE T-BYRD GORDON BAND in their yearly holiDAZE Special. Let's get down and boogie with this talented show band playing the best of Pop, Rock, Blues, and Motown, with some holiday tunes thrown in to make the season bright!! A show you just can't miss!
Sunday, November 24 @7pm: TASKMASTER Live and Local. Taskmaster: Live and Local returns to the Pocket with five new contestants who will take to the stage to contend with a
series of hilarious and challenging tasks that could only come from the twisted mind of the Taskmaster herself, Lauren Hearn! With her, as always, the Bartok to her Rasputin, Jared Seman! Join us on November 24th for an evening of horseplay and shenanigans the likes of which you can only find in a Taskmaster: Live and Local show!
