Three Garden Road Celebrates the Season with
“Art for Inclusion Exhibition”
Empowering Young Talent to Paint a More Connected Hong Kong
At a time when our city embraces the need for connection and support, we believe in the uplifting power of art more than ever. Three Garden Road, a landmark property under Champion REIT, proudly presents its first “Art for Inclusion Exhibition” in partnership with Fullness Social Enterprises Society, running from now until 2 January 2026.
Celebrating Young Artists and Inclusive Creativity
The exhibition showcases inspiring paintings created by young artists with special educational needs, including those who are deaf or autistic, as well as students from ethnic minority communities. Each piece expresses the artists’ individuality, creativity and optimism, offering fresh perspectives on inclusion. The event aims to foster a sense of togetherness and inspire the public to build a more inclusive and sustainable community for the future.
Community Art Jam: 12 Collaborative Works
The exhibition features 12 original artworks created by 14 young artists, guided by local artist Eric Ng and social enterprise wePaint. Together, they reimagine a future Hong Kong that celebrates diversity, environmental awareness and shared creativity.
In a truly collaborative effort, nearly 380 tenants from Three Garden Road joined the young artists in a large-scale Art Jamming event, collectively bringing these works to life. This collaboration not only connected people from different backgrounds but also symbolized the spirit of business and community moving forward together. “During the creative process, we transformed from strangers to friends, moving from co-creation to walking the journey together,” said Laibah, a participating youth artist from Hong Kong’s ethnic minority community.
Each artwork is equipped with an NFC tag, allowing visitors to scan using their mobile phones to hear directly from the artists, offering a more personal and immersive experience that brings each story to life.
“Inclusion is as Simple as Sitting Together for Tea and a Bun!”
The exhibition revolves around three core themes: Inclusive Community, Sustainable Living, and Cross-Cultural Exchange, revealing Hong Kong’s multifaceted identity and reflecting our vision for a more inclusive city.
Among the featured artists is Matthew Yu, an autistic and mildly intellectually disabled young artist whose sensitivity and imagination shine through his paintings. Matthew is also a decorated athlete who has won gold medals in speed skating at the 2013 and 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games, embodying the strength and determination that define his art.
Another highlight, “Same Taste, Different Lands” by Ahmad Rida Nisar, portrays harmony across cultures. Born in Hong Kong to Pakistani and Chinese heritage, Rida celebrates everyday connection through her artwork, depicting two women from different backgrounds sharing milk tea—a comforting symbol of Hong Kong life. “Inclusion, to me, is as simple as sitting down together, asking questions, and sharing a bun,” she says.
Colours of Inclusion: A 10-Metre Christmas Tree Lights Up Central
Echoing the theme of unity and celebration, Three Garden Road’s 10-metre Christmas tree has been reimagined in a vibrant palette for the first time. The design symbolises a city where every colour, voice and imagination has a place. The illuminated tree and surrounding stairway lightscape now brighten Central, inviting the public to visit, take photos and share in the joyful spirit of inclusion.
