A Latino Fashion Week Experience

Threads of Service is an immersive evening where fashion, culture, education, community, and service come together to honor the men and women who have served our country.

The evening begins with Power Hour, an exclusive reception featuring food and drinks, a curated display of official military uniforms, medals, pins, and memorabilia, and opportunities to connect with veterans, Living Legends, community leaders, industry professionals, and organizations supporting those who serve.

Guests will also experience the next generation of fashion talent as Fashion Foundry students showcase original garments created from donated military fatigues, transforming materials connected to service into new expressions of creativity and design.

The evening continues with a dynamic runway experience featuring fashion, emerging talent, and community, followed by a special Living Legends tribute honoring individuals whose service and leadership have made a lasting impact.

We are honored to welcome Director Wright of ASU’s Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement (OVMAE) as our keynote speaker, bringing an important perspective on service, leadership, education, and the continued impact of those who serve.

Threads of Service brings generations together through fashion—honoring the past, celebrating those who serve today, and inspiring the next generation to create what comes next.

Begin the evening with Power Hour, an exclusive reception bringing together fashion, culture, community, and the extraordinary stories of those who have served our country. Guests will experience a curated display of official military uniforms, medals, pins, memorabilia, and artifacts, offering a rare glimpse into the history and personal stories behind these pieces powered by ASU's OVMAE.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and engage with veterans, Living Legends, community leaders, and representatives from organizations supporting our military community, including our sponsors, Wounded Warrior Project, and ASU’s Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement (OVMAE).

Enjoy food, drinks, live correspondence, fashion, meaningful conversations, and community connection in an atmosphere unlike a traditional reception. AND THEN, THE STORY CONTINUES.

Info: THE FASHION EXPERIENCE: Threads of Service runway is designed as a journey through service, creativity, transformation, and legacy bringing together fashion, music, military tradition, emerging talent, and the stories of those who serve.

OPENING : A MOMENT OF HONOR
The evening opens with a powerful presentation of the Color Guard, setting the tone for an evening rooted in respect, service, and honor.
We are proud to welcome Olivia Calderón, who will perform the National Anthem. Olivia has appeared on America’s Got Talent, bringing her powerful voice to the opening of Threads of Service.
RECLAIMED VALOR
The first fashion segment, Reclaimed Valor, introduces the next generation of creative talent.
Fashion Foundry students will present original garments they designed from donated military fatigues provided by a veteran.
DESIGNERS
The runway continues with a showcase of designers, showcasing their talent. We end our show with our LIVING LEGENDS

Info: In military tradition, a Liberty Call marks the moment when duty is complete and service members are free to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the company of one another. Join us immediately following the runway presentation as designers, veterans, students, sponsors, community leaders, and guests come together for an unforgettable celebration filled with music, connection, and community. Because every great mission deserves a meaningful celebration.
