Threads of Polarity: A Conscious Shibari Introduction for Couples

In this workshop we approach shibari through a slow and playful dance between the masculine and feminine polarities — using the ropes as a medium for giving and receiving, leading and surrendering. Polarity here is not about gender, but about exploring the longing, barriers, desires, fears, feelings etc. connected to being, receiving, surrendering (the feminine) on one hand and doing, giving/taking and leading (the masculine) on the other hand.
We will move through connection and tension, creating a container where vulnerability meets strength, and where every wrap of rope becomes a meditation in embodied trust and connection. In ways often hidden from the conscious mind, the ropes have a tendency to reveal old patterns of thought and emotions and sometimes even provide a sheltered space for integration and transformation.
Practical information: fixed pairs workshop (come with a partner/friend), beginner level, no rope or knot experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes with as much bare skin as you feel comfortable with.
