Threads of Liberation III
About this Event
Threads of Liberation returns for its third edition and one-year anniversary, bringing together music, conversation, art, food, workshops and community at Renate Garten.
Throughout the day, we’ll have live performances from Uwineza, Palo Santo, Laura Elle, Dos Cinco G and Haus Bossa, alongside a community talk with Yasmin Acar, Monzir Abrams and Reclaiming Narratives, moderated by Nicky Böhm.
Across the garden there will also be Tatreez workshops, art, a community bazaar featuring local makers and collectives, and Levantine food prepared by Bird House throughout the day.
This edition will raise funds for Water & Seeds, organized by Salma with proceeds directly supporting her family in Palestine, and United for Sudan, supporting their ongoing grassroots relief and solidarity efforts for Sudan.

Purchasing a Soli Ticket is one of the most direct ways you can support Threads of Liberation III. Your contribution helps us cover the costs of putting the event together—from artists and workshops to food, production and materials; while allowing us to direct as much of what we raise as possible toward Water & Seeds and United for Sudan.
Your Soli Ticket also includes entry to Renate’s club night following Threads of Liberation, as long as you arrive at the venue before 20:00. So you’re welcome to stay with us after the fundraiser and continue into the night.
