Join Miik and Plan International Canada for an inspiring evening dedicated to global women's rights, economic empowerment, and the power of values-driven community.

Together, our event called "Threads of Change" celebrates our partnership supporting the Women and Girls’ Economic Empowerment Fund—a global initiative reaching over 100,000 women and girls across six countries.

This special event features an intimate, live panel discussion exploring how education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship create lasting, transformational change for women across the globe.

• Donna Smith | Founder + Creative Director, Miik Inc - a Canadian-made, woman-owned clothing brand with a focus on sustainability, comfort and building community. Each garment is made using eco-friendly fabrics and ethical manufacturing practices, all within 50km of their Toronto-based head office.
• Maria Paula | Economic Empowerment Advisor, Plan International Canada - Mapi brings firsthand insights from her on-the-ground work visiting the SWEET project in Egypt, sharing stories of impact, resilience, and community transformation.

• Live Panel Discussion: Join us for an engaging conversation featuring Maria Paula, Economic Empowerment Advisor at Plan Canada annd Donna Smith, Founder of Miik.

• Interactive Q&A: Ask your questions directly to our panelists, whether you are attending in person or tuning in virtually.
