1861 Club and the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation Present Nine Lives: Free Fairtime Concert Series at 1861 Club
Nine nights of live music. That’s what the Nine Lives: Free Fairtime Concert Series is all about. Since opening in 2024, 1861 Club has become a go-to spot for music, food and drinks during the Kansas State Fair — and this year is no different.
Night Five: Thorn Haze
Thorn Haze is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter from Wichita, Kansas, known for blending blues with indie, rock and alternative music.
Known for his social-media-documented, 500-day journey of writing and recording a song every single day, his powerful one-man performance is built on rhythm, grit, and atmosphere.

All Fairtime concerts at the 1861 Club are free, no cover charges! Come early to snag the best seats since it’s first come, first served!
Want a reserved table? Consider becoming an entertainment sponsor! One of the only ways to secure a reserved table is to sponsor a concert. Entertainment sponsors receive one reserved table for the night they sponsor, plus plenty of recognition! The sooner you sponsor, the more we can help promote your organization and brand!
The 1861 Club is open daily during the Kansas State Fair serving fresh food and cold beer. It’s the coolest club you never had to join! Even cooler? We keep the A/C blasting! Don’t forget about our patio complete with games and tvs, too. We will be streaming football, so plan to watch at 1861 Club.
