Join Newry, Mourne and Down District Council's Heritage Officer, author and poet, Linda McKenna, on a tour to mark the anniversary of Thomas Russell’s death in October 1803.
Beginning and ending at Down County Museum, Linda will guide participants through United Irishmen and Thomas Russell related sites at Saintfield, Ballynahinch, Annadorn and Loughinisland.
While much of the journey will be by coach, there will be some walking and standing at each stop. Participants are advised to check the weather beforehand and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
