This Soul the Body Sows : A Poetry Workshop

The Aztecs once gathered in masses under dark skies to sing poetry about ephemerality and everything they held sacred. Five hundred years later, the Beats convened in smoke hazed basements until early hours, rebelling against the conformity of the time. This meeting will serve as a forum for the discussion of poetry as a medium for transcendence and as a creative writing workshop, in which we will explore and share our own written worlds.

Facilitated by Juan Solis, ENTRE's Artist in Radical Residence.

This workshop is free and open to the public. We ask participants to bring a notebook, pens/pencils, and/or a laptop to participate. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
