“This is Your Song Too” Phish & Jewish Identity: Book Talk & Concert
Schedule
Thu Mar 06 2025 at 05:00 pm to 09:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
2001 Liberty Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD, United States, Maryland 21217 | Baltimore, MD
The night begins with a ‘lot scene’ downstairs with local vendors, nosh (food) and heady vibes. Our event officially kicks off with Rabbi Jessy Dressin in conversation with Ariella Werden-Greenfield and Oren Kroll-Zeldin, co-editors of the first scholarly exploration of the wide-ranging connections between Phish and Jews: This is Your Song Too: Phish and Contemporary Jewish Identity. After the talk, the music of hometown Phish cover band, Phoam, will fill the sanctuary with the feel-good, jammy and beloved music of the “band from Vermont”. Sure to be a highlight of the season, this is a must attend – whether you’ve been to no Phish shows or 200!
The night begins at 5 pm with vendors, food, and schmoozing, and the formal program kicks off at 6:45.
