Introducing the Art & Medicine of Tea via GongFu Cha Ceremonial Tea Service.

During our Thirst-Tea Thursday taste-teaing we will focus on the nurturing and subtle energies that Tea, an ancient Tibetan Plant Medicine, brings to our awareness.

M.R. Mark Murphy encourages attendees to empty their cup that it may be filled over and over again with the thirst quenching spirit that this humble plant teacher shares as we simply 'Tea & Be'. This event is an offering to steep and be steeped deep on a Thursday night out where the invitation is to tune further In to the clarity and sobriety that 'Just Tea' can provide one's body, mind, and spirit.

As we may work with different forms of Tea & Herbs (Green, Yellow, Oolong, Red), our focale will be to highlight the grounding nature of Puer Cha, an aged (decades) fermented black tea, cultivated in Yunnan province China. Through-out the aging process, it is common of the caffeine content of this tea to decrease, and with maturity, to cultivate a stronger Chi that can bring a more subtle activation as one attune's their receptivity through palette development.

M.R. Murphy brings to the table a student teacher mind-state where he continues to learn through his studies with various plants and teachers from all over the world to bridge East-West, North-South, to attain greater harmony with the natural world and our place in it.

This is an opportunity to relax, connect, and receive the hydrating Wisdom & Vitality that the world's most consumed beverage, beyond just water, continues to offer humanity in day to day life.

The pouring is held in the Mission District at the New Mission Yoga, an emerging transformation and wellness center, that continues to inspire and cultivate the space where community of all walks of life are welcome to form closer relationship to themselves and others through 'InTeagration', and this offering, the Practice of GongFu Cha Tea Service.
