About Dr. Brian Jackson:
Dr. Jackson is a professor teaching astronomy in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Boise State University. His research focuses primarily on orbital dynamics and transit observations of extrasolar planets, planets outside of our solar system. He also does some planetary science field work, notably on Death Valley’s Racetrack Playa and on terrestrial and Martian dust devils.
When he is not chasing my daughter around the house, he enjoys running around Boise and learning Japanese.
