Third Space Comedy
About this Event
Local Variety Co. presents Third Space Comedy — a monthly stand-up event in the Taproom at Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, MI.
Each show features local & regional comedians in an intimate space filled with barrels, string lights, and good vibes. The “third space” is the place between work and home where you feel seen and celebrated for who you are. For us, it’s a celebration of comedy, creativity, community, and connection — and you’re invited.
Melanie Hearn is a Detroit-raised stand-up comedian known for her sharp storytelling, confident stage presence, and relatable takes on everyday life, relationships, and real-world chaos.
She’s performed everywhere from intimate clubs to major festivals, including the Netflix Is a Joke Fest, and is also a regular guest on Live in the D on WDIV-TV.
Her honest, bold perspective and effortless crowd connection keep audiences laughing and locked in.
