Third Place x Betty - Winter Social

For our final event of the year, we’re collaborating with women-only friendship app, Betty

Third Place and Betty are on a mission to bring women together to make genuine friendships. And what better way to do this than with a Y2K-themed Winter Social!

80 Manchester women will take over subterranean Northern Quarter bar, Nightcap on Friday 29th November. Expect 2000s throwback tunes, fizz, cocktails/mocktails, disposable cameras, and dancing the night away under the disco ball!

Tickets include 5 drinks per person with a choice of: custom welcome cocktail or mocktail - The Betty, house wine, Prosecco, beer, single spirit & mixer, mocktails, alcohol free beer, alcohol free gin & tonic, and soft drinks.

Most people arrive at Third Place events by themselves but leave with lots of new friends. This event is women-only so it’s a safe space to get glam and make new friends!

What will happen at the event?

• A few days before the event, Bethany (Third Place Founder) will create a WhatsApp group for all the Winter Social guests so you can say 'hi' if you'd like to.
• 7:30pm - Doors open. Bethany and the team will be there to greet you and hand out drinks tokens.
• Chat, mingle, drink, dance, and make friends!
• Midnight - the Winter Social ends and Nightcap opens to the public.

Ticket Information

Tickets include 5 drinks per person and are non-refundable. All guests must download free, women-only friendship app, Betty before entering the event.

Travel

Tram - The Piccadilly Gardens tram stop is a 5-minute walk from Nightcap. The Piccadilly tram stop (located inside Piccadilly train station) is an 8-minute walk from the venue.

Bus - Nightcap is a 5-minute walk from the Piccadilly Gardens bus terminus and the Shudehill bus terminus.

Train - The Piccadilly train station is an 8-minute walk from Nightcap, a 10-minute walk from Victoria train station, and a 20-minute walk from Oxford Road train station.

Car - The Car Park Manchester Northern Quarter (APCOA, Church Street, Manchester, M4 1LX) is a 1-minute walk from Nightcap.

Dress code

Y2k Glam. Think glitter, rhinestones, butterfly motifs and graphic prints but please wear whatever feels comfortable for you.
