Third Place - Spooky Ornament Making Workshop

Manchester women, we've got a spooky workshop in store for you this autumn season!

Third Place is once again collaborating with the wonderful, woman-owned, Studio Dawn. Ahead of Halloween, we’re taking over their Media City studio for a creative workshop where Chelsie and her team will teach us how to make eco-resin pumpkin and ghost ornaments.

Learn the art of dyeing and pouring eco-resin to create either 3 pumpkin ornaments or 2 ghost ornaments in any colour scheme you fancy.

No experience needed. All materials will be provided. Chelsie will be on hand throughout to guide you through the process one step at a time. All you need to bring is some enthusiasm and some clothes you don't mind getting a little bit messy.

Enjoy a welcome cocktail or mocktail, along with tucking into a spooky snack buffet (including vegan and gluten free options).

Don’t worry about coming to this event on your own, most people at Third Place events have never met before so we’ll all be in the same boat.

What will happen at the event?

• A few days before the event, the Third Place team will create a WhatsApp group for all the guest so you can say 'hi' if you'd like to.
• When you arrive, a member of the Third Place team will be there to greet you outside Studio Dawn.
• We’ll be taking over the whole studio, so it’s just Manchester women.
• Grab your welcome cocktail or mocktail, some spooky snacks and get settled in.
• Chelsie will explain how to make the ornaments and we’ll get started.
• Get making and chatting!
• Chelsie will be on hand to help throughout.
• At 9pm, we’ll say our goodbyes.

Tickets cost £30 and are non-refundable

Tram - The Media City tram stop is a 7-minute walk from the venue.

Bus - The number 50 bus stops outside Quayside shopping centre and is a 2-minute walk from the venue.

Car - The closest car park is located within Quayside shopping centre (M50 3AH).

Dress code

There's no dress code. Come as you are. Be mindful that your clothes might get a little bit messy whilst making the ornaments.
