Premier Dog Sports (“PDS”) is planning the third annual President’s Day/Family Day event (“PD/FD”) AKA "Grudge", at the Premier Dog Sports & Event Center in Lancaster N.Y on February 13th, 14th and 15th, 2026. Registration will open January 12th, 2026 and close February 6th, 2026. The following are the participation limits per discipline (first come/first serve through registration).
Distance – 40
Catch – 25
Takedown – 25
Hydro-Retrieve- 25
Takedown is going to be broken down into two days starting Friday afternoon for competitors starting below 14 feet and finishing Saturday morning for competitors starting at 14 feet. That cutoff may change depending upon the number of participants.
Pricing has remained the same from last year at $30/per event, regardless of discipline and must be paid at the time of registration in US$. All registrations unpaid will not be accepted as valid.

The event will include all dock jumping disciplines and the following divisions:
“Distance” (4 events) AVERAGE DISTANCE
Independent League 0’ to 9’11”
A League 10’ to 14’11”
AA League 15’ to 18’11”
AAA League 19’ To 22’11”
Major League >=23’
“Catch” (1 event) TOTAL OF TWO THROWS*
Independent League 10 to 40 points
AA League 40 to 75 points
Major League > 75 points
“Takedown” (1 event) FURTHEST DISTANCE
Independent League 8’ to 12’
AA League 13’ to 17’
Major League >=17’
“Retrieve” (1 event) AVERAGE TIME
Independent League > 9 seconds
AA League >= 8 to <= 9 seconds
Major League < 8 seconds
* In the game of Catch, you will be allowed an optional third throw if you wish, to better your score. In the event that you elect to take that third throw, the lowest of your previous two jumps will be permanently eliminated from your score, as if the jump was never taken. If you have two successful catches and still elect to try a third catch, your lowest score will be eliminated and that third catch will count no matter what.
Also, (like on New Years Eve), we will be implementing the “50% Rule”. This requires that the Catch distance must be greater than or equal 50% of the jump distance. If the catch distance is less than 50% of the jump distance, that will be considered “No Catch” and scored zero. Points for this game have been adjusted up accordingly.
There will be NO finals in the distance competitions. Ribbons will be awarded based upon the average of ALL 8 jumps of the 4 distance events. In the event that you do not sign up for all 4 jumps, you will not qualify for ribbons.
On Saturday evening, we are going to have an optional Leash Swap fun event after the Distance 2 jump. More on that later!
We have most all the amenities that you would need including 16 RV spots available for rent that including electrical and water hookups plus a dump station on site. Please contact Shelly for those arrangements if needed.
