Classic Tournaments LLC is thrilled to announce the return of the Doormat Classic, a premier two-day flounder showdown that has quickly become a must-fish event for serious anglers! With Weighmaster and Tournament Director Capt. Patric Garmeson at the helm, this year’s competition promises to build on the incredible momentum of the first two years—where anglers battled in some great southern fall weather and landed monster flounder.
This one-of-a-kind tournament features a five-fish limit each day, pushing teams of two to strategize and fish at the highest level. Just like the legendary Winter Classic, live fish will earn anglers a ¼-pound bonus per fish, and most will be donated to the Claude Peteet Mariculture Center, Alabama’s only marine fish hatchery—meaning your catch can help sustain future fisheries!
What makes this event stand out? Every angler is present for weigh-in, a rare and thrilling format for saltwater tournaments, ensuring an electric atmosphere as the fish hit the scale.
