The Forget Me Not Foundation invites you to Think Purple, a special community event dedicated to raising awareness about Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and aging-related care. Our mission is deeply personal—we have walked this journey with our own loved ones, and now we are committed to helping others prepare, understand, and navigate the road ahead.
This will not be your typical fundraiser. Think Purple is designed to be informative, uplifting, and community-centered. We are bringing together medical professionals, care specialists, and experienced advocates who will share expert insights, helpful resources, and real-life guidance for families and caregivers. Our goal is to make the next person’s experience smoother, more informed, and supported.

7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Think Purple 5K Walk/Run
Start your day by walking or running for a purpose greater than yourself. Every step taken honors those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, remembers those we have lost, and supports families facing these challenges every day.
Whether you are participating in memory of a loved one, supporting a friend, or simply standing with our mission, your presence sends a powerful message: no family should face this journey alone.
Together, we will move forward with hope, awareness, and determination—one step, one mile, and one family at a time.
• 5K Walk/Run for all ages and fitness levels
• Individual and team participation welcome
• Memory Tribute Recognition
• Community encouragement and support
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Educational Sessions Inside The MAX
• Expert medical professionals sharing knowledge
• Guidance on early signs and diagnosis
• Care planning resources
• Support contacts for families and caregivers
• Q&A and informational materials

Food & Live Music in The MAX Courtyard

• Live entertainment
