Think & Link with Rudi Anggono and Laura Ness Owens
About this Event
There are those who build and those who destroy. We need both, but builders are essential today.
We have Rudi Anggono (of Google, Lego, Snap, and now Cepien) paired with Laura Ness Owens (of Bobcat)—both exemplifying the idea of builders, practically and philosophically.
Both of our guests build with the craft of emotional precision; in simple terms, they get us to feel something. They are also known for seeking the "problem worth solving" versus the problem presented in a challenge, job description, or brief. As we move deeper into an age of AI where options are unlimited, taste and the resulting judgment are the remaining human contributions.
If you’re looking for something to break your Gilmore Girls streaming addiction, this pairing should do the trick.
KEY AREAS OF LEARNING:
- How do you achieve "feeling" at the scale of large organizations and brands?
- Can taste and the resulting judgment be the foundation of a business strategy?
- How do we solve the larger problems not being talked about in the organization? Essentially, how do we motivate ourselves to move beyond the brief or the job description to a more impactful place?
