Join professional storytellers Cath Edwards and Jason Buck for stories of Robin Hood, the legendary hero who fought for justice, in the comfort of Temperance Café's 'Magic Lantern Room'.
These dramatic tales of danger and daring tell how, with his band of outlaws and a very strong woman, he battled against corrupt power. With Little John, Friar Tuck, Alan a Dale, Marion and others by his side, Robin meets folk, both good and villainous, generous and greedy, pious and wicked and every meeting brings risk and adventure. Always, he returns to the sanctuary of his beloved greenwood for rest and merrymaking – until the next call to arms.
With themes of loyalty to the King and the bonds of brotherhood, here are the thrilling stories of a man who would risk all to save a friend, and who stands to save the whole of England.
