The second of the two springtime performances by the Lone Star Symphonic Band will be held on May 3rd, 2026. There’s Just Something About Music as we prepare for the end of the school year and look forward to summertime! How does music “fit” into your life? Why is music important? There are almost as many questions and quotes about the benefits of music as there are types of music in the world. This concert will feature selections to reach every listener in a personal way; ways which may differ from person-to-person. We are excited to announce that one such selection will feature the amazing concert pianist, Dr. Yoojin Lee Williams, as she performs the Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 15 by Edvard Grieg. You will not want to miss this performance!
