Una Voce Chamber Choir presents James MacMillan's Stabat Mater: There Stood the Mother. Joined by seventeen of the area’s finest instrumentalists, UVCC will give this magnificent work its New England premiere in Studzinski Hall on the campus of Bowdoin College on June 12th and 14th.
Dedicated to John Studzinski and the Genesis Foundation, Stabat Mater received its US premiere in 2019, but has received few performances outside of Europe to date. This is a state of affairs that Maine's most daring choir is excited to rectify.
