Calvert County Parks and Recreation invites residents to participate in the tenth annual Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Duck Race Event!What's all our quacking about? Rubber ducks are placed into a specialized duck race arena and float across the pool powered by water jets and the cheers of the crowd! Each duck can be sponsored, and all proceeds from the event will go toward the Therapeutic Recreation scholarship fund, which provides financial assistance to individuals with special needs who attend life-enriching Therapeutic Recreation programs and summer camps.
Participants can sponsor a rubber duck to compete in a race down the pool; attendance is not required to claim a prize. Sponsorships may be purchased in person or online at https://calvertcounty.perfectmind.com using their activity numbers:
-Regular Ducks: $5/each (Activity #26-370662)
-Regular Duck Quack Pack: $55 for 12 ducks (Activity #26-370664)
-Deluxe Ducks: $6/each (Activity #26-370663)
-Deluxe Duck Quack Pack: $66 for 12 ducks (Activity #26-370665)
