Therapeutic Movement Classes by Project Bhava

We are launching mental-health informed movement classes to experience and explore the nuances of creative expression through movement. The classes incorporate movement explorations and learning a thematic based choreography. The classes are inspired by a wealth of different movement styles ranging from Indian Classical (Kuchipudi, Odissi, Bharatanatyam), Indian contemporary, folk dances, Bollywood style, Butoh and Yoga.

As Drama and Movement psychotherapists, Amruta & Kritija recognise the importance of creating a non-judgemental and safe space for anyone who wants to explore their authentic flow. So, NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NEEDED – we welcome beginners or explorers!

Over the spring and summer, we offer two themes in a bi-monthly format at South Dance Studio, Brighton, UK –

8th March/22nd March – Finding the Flow

5th April/19th April – Dance of Desire

7th June/21st June – Finding the Flow

5th July/19th July – Dance of Desire
