A fundraiser for Glenwood Springs Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded 1963, supporting Frontier History Museum operations, education programs, artifact and archives preservation, and other public history programs.
Vocalist Heidi Rovig joins pianist Kyle Jones will perform live at the event, performing music inspired by the golden age of early jazz, bringing timeless songs to live in a warm and inviting style that captures the charm and spirit of Roosevelt’s era.
Program
6:00-7:00: Social hour, including a signature cocktail (cash bar)
7:00-9:00: Toasts, dinner, and speechmaking, including remarks by President Roosevelt
MENU
The evening's menu recreates much of the food enjoyed at the 1905 dinner.
Starters: Relish, Cheese, and Fruit Board ~ Consommé Rothschild ~ Spanish Mackerel and Potato Beignets
Choice of Entrée:
Prime Rib au Jus
or
Cornish Game Hen with Cranberry Sauce
or
Lamb with Mint Sauce
or
Vegetarian (Chef's Choice)
All dinners come with: Mashed Potatoes ~ New Potatoes ~ Asparagus ~ Green Beans
Concluding with dessert table selections: Apple Pie ~ Cream Pie ~ Nesselrode Pudding ~ Petit Fours
