Calling all East Tennessee Actors, Dancers, and Singers to join Last Call Theatre Group and Music at the Lab for the first workshop in our 2025 workshop series.
Unlock Your Voice:
Intro to Vocal Technique for Actors, Dancers and Singers
Discover how to connect your voice to your acting.
Learn essential breathing and vocal techniques.
Explore song interpretation to enhance storytelling.
Build confidence performing in front of an audience.
No prior singing experience? No problem! This course is designed specifically for actors, dancers and singers who want to expand their range—literally and artistically.
Please Note the Following Details:
Doors Open at 6:15pm and Workshop Begins Promptly at 6:30pm.
Workshop held in the Lenoir City Roane State Community College Community Room. Please enter from Depot Street,
Light refreshments will be served. Cost is $20 per person. Please reserve your seat by purchasing online. Space is limited.
Instructor: LaVista Benson
LaVista Benson, soprano, is very proud of the nearly two decades she spent teaching in the award-winning Department of Music at Riverside City College’s Coil School for the Arts. Her many diverse students excelled in the art of singing classical repertoire, performing lead roles in musical theater favorites, and leading vocals for various jazz ensembles. Additionally, she was thrilled to join the esteemed Faculty at California Baptist University’s Collinsworth School of Music welcoming students of Contemporary Commercial Music and Contemporary Christian Music into her studio.
