Theatre Redlands - An Evening of Talking Heads

The Plays:
“A Chip in the Sugar” explores dependency, relevance and the power of love – or is it obligation?
“A Cream Cracker under the Settee” brings us headfirst into the changing nature of life, what’s acceptable and what is ultimately desirable.
About the Play Reading:
This Play Reading explores - through intimate, self revealing monologues - isolation, memory, guilt and the stories people tell themselves to survive. Each character speaks alone, but collectively the pieces form a poignant portrait of lives lived on the margins of attention, rendered with Bennett’s signature wit and compassion.
