NOTES:
• All Theatre majors are required to work at least 50 hours/TPP on one or more Theatre Department productions with Theatre Department faculty/staff supervision in order to pass their Theatre Participation requirement for THE92, THE94, THE96 or THE98.
• For Theatre Majors: 1 hour of work on a Theatre Department show (supervised by a Theatre Dept. faculty or staff member) = 1 Theatre Participation Point (TPP).
• All first-year Theatre majors are required to earn at least 25 TPP in their first two semesters on a build crew and/or run crew. (That includes ASMs, scenic build crew, props build crew, costume build crew, electrics crew, scenic painting crew, scenic run crew, props run crew, board and spot ops, and wardrobe run crews!)
• Students can sign up for more than one production position to earn their 50 hours.
• Current SSU students in *other majors* are welcome to sign up for positions, as well! There are plenty available for everyone!
• Theatre majors who are already cast in a Spring 2026 production, have a major Spring 2026 design/tech/management position, or are enrolled in THE201 Workshop this semester are not required to sign up for an additional position at the Job Fair, but they are welcome to sign up for another position if they would like to!
• After you fill out your interest list at the Job Fair, the Theatre Coordinator and your Theatre Participation supervisor(s) will contact you directly about your position(s), along with specific information about the days and times you are called.
• If you have any questions about TPP during the Job Fair, please see a faculty or staff member at one of the lobby tables.
