With a book and lyrics by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, and music by Matthew Sklar, this Broadway hit follows a group of self-absorbed stage stars who descend on a small Indiana town to champion a high school student barred from bringing her girlfriend to prom.
What begins as a publicity stunt quickly transforms into something deeper, as unlikely friendships form and a community is challenged to grow. Filled with humor, dazzling music, and heartfelt moments, THE PROM is a story about courage, compassion, and what it truly means to show up for one another.
Directed by Steve MacKinnon, with choreography by Shane Bland and music direction by John R. Mason III and Bradley Roberts, THE PROM promises to be a touching, hilarious, and powerful story for our community to experience together.
