Theatre 308, Darien High School’s award-winning drama club is proud to present this year’s spring musical, Les Misérables: School Edition! The winner of over 100 international awards and seen by over 70 million, Les Misérables follows the life of Jean Valjean, a former convict who seeks redemption while being relentlessly pursued by Inspector Javert. Along the way, he becomes a protector to the poor and downtrodden, notably the orphaned Cosette, and gets entangled in the French Revolution. Themes of justice, love, sacrifice, and social inequality drive the narrative, culminating in a tragic yet hopeful conclusion.
This year’s production will run March 13th, 14th, and 15th, with shows starting at 7 pm, all in the Darien High School Auditorium. There will also be a 1 pm Saturday matinee. Tickets are currently on sale and they are going fast! Visit Theatre308.org for more information.
