The ⭐️ALL LOVE & THUNDER⚡️ Poetry Slam is a high-stakes battle of the greatest minds in poetry, established in observance and commememoration of miss Swann on the intersection between Pride and Juneteenth by recognizing a voice whose poetry, as determined by a panel of 5 JUDGES over 3 ROUNDS, expemplifies the likeness of The POWER OF LOVE!

This competition calls on participants to rise above the ranks, and expand the lexicon of love, unity, and most importantly—UPRISING!

TIME LIMIT: 3 minutes and 30 seconds (0.619 time penalty every 10 seconds above)

SCORING: 0-10 points per judge (scores will be averaged minus the highest and lowest score every round) Cumulative scoring

PROP RULE: Poets may not use any items during their performance whatssoever nor expect music or backtrackings

PREPARATION: Poets should bring 4 or more poems. Although there are ONLY 3 planned rounds---in the event of a tie, poets must compete head-2-head sudden-death to determine our final winner.
