THE YOUNGERS
THEYOUNGERS.COM
The Youngers are a Pennsylvania-based band blending guitar-driven indie rock with the storytelling depth of American roots music. Formed in 1999, the band has spent more than two decades crafting songs that balance melody, emotion, and a distinctly human perspective.
They celebrated their 25th year as a band with a special sold-out show at Godfrey Daniels, a fitting milestone for a group that has built its following through years of live performance and connection with audiences.
Their sound sits at the intersection of jangling guitars, harmony-driven arrangements, and reflective songwriting—drawing from rock, folk, and country traditions without being confined by any one genre. Whether in a full-band setting or stripped down acoustically, The Youngers are known for performances that feel both dynamic and deeply personal.
Their latest album, Dreaming (2026), was recorded at the Wilco Loft in Chicago with producer Tom Schick (Wilco, Mavis Staples), capturing a warm, organic sound that highlights both their musicianship and lyrical depth.Over the years, The Youngers have appeared at festivals including MerleFest, DelFest, and Musikfest, and have shared stages with artists such as Levon Helm, Marty Stuart, and Lee Rocker. Their music has received support from SiriusXM Outlaw Country as well as respected stations like WMOT, WNCW, WXPN, KPIG, and WDIY.
