THE YOMP 10K – A ROUTE THAT CALLS YOU BACK and one of Super Saturday’s most popular courses. First introduced in 2023, this much-loved route has already become a favourite—drawing runners and walkers back to the fells.
Designed for everyone, from seasoned fell runners to first-time adventurers, it’s a journey to take at your own pace… whether you’re chasing a challenge or simply soaking in the landscape around you.
Starting from The Engine Shed Basecamp, the route gently leads you past the edge of Nateby village and out into open country—beneath the watchful slopes of High Seat and Tailbrigg.
From there, you’ll find yourself drawn deeper into the heart of the YOMP… joining the main routes near Fell Gate, where the energy of the challenge meets the stillness of the fells.
With a fully waymarked course and supportive checkpoints, you’re free to focus on what matters—moving through nature, breathing it all in, and enjoying every step of the journey.
