Charity Blackwell is a spoken word artist, poet, emcee, and educator known for using her voice to inspire, empower, and uplift communities. As the Chief of Culture & Arts for DC SCORES and the Director of Poetry Events at Busboys and Poets, she has led workshops and performances across the country, blending activism and artistry. With over eight years of experience leading poetry and culture-building workshops, Charity is passionate about creating spaces for self-expression and storytelling. Her work has been featured on TEDx, NPR, and The Washington Post, and she continues to be a driving force in the spoken word and arts community.
