This ensemble of veteran musicians combines the best of straight-ahead, Brazilian, and contemporary jazz from such artists as Brad Mehldau, Eliane Elias, Keith Jarrett, The Yellowjackets, and more. All 3 members of this trio are seasoned, experienced musicians that have backed and appeared with some of the best Twin Cities artists. All 3 have a deep background in live and studio performance, funneling that experience and musicianship into this musical trios exploration.
Trio bios:
Mark Weisberg: (upright bass, 6-string electric bass, 6-string fretless bass) Mark has played with the Top jazz artists in the Twin Cities including Debbie Duncan, Prudence Johnson, Dennis Spears, Patty Peterson, T. Michael Rambo, Fred Steele, Mary Louise Knutson, Chris Lomheim, Phil Aaron, and Ginger Commodore Quartet (GCQ)
Michael Pilhofer: (Drums & percussion) Michael has been a top session and live drummer in the Twin Cities scene for over 30 years,
Phil Kadidlo: (Piano & keyboards) Phil has accompanied many Twin Cities performers over his long career, including Prudence Johnson, Bruce Henry, Patty Peterson and Wayne Anthony and more..
