The Aubrey x BARSTARS Global sponsored by The Orientalist Spirits

The Aubrey will host a welcoming party during The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 week presented in partnership with The Orientalist Spirits. Bar Manager Stefano Bussi will welcome some of the most influential names in modern bartending gathered in Hong Kong for one night only. Every hour two international bars will present their cocktail with the night ending with The Aubrey and The Orientalist shaking up some final cocktails:
8PM:
Cross Yu of EPIC Shanghai – a two-time Diageo World Class China Champion and one of the mainland’s most decorated bartenders. EPIC is the only all-Chinese team to break into The World’s 50 Best Bars with menus like The Taste of Hometown celebrating regional Chinese culture.
Tom Liu and Mike Capoferri of Thunderbolt Los Angeles – ranked #8 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2024 (Best in the West) and #89 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023. Thunderbolt has also been recognised at Tales of the Cocktail as Best U.S. Cocktail Bar and Best U.S. Bar Team celebrated for its Southern California roots inventive cocktails and commitment to sustainability.
9:15PM:
Millie Tang – a two-time Australian Bartender of the Year Tang was ranked No. 29 on the Bar World 100 in 2024 and is recognised for her creativity and mentorship in the global bar community.
Lorenzo Querci and Giovanni Allario of Moebius Milan – representing one of Italy’s most dynamic venues where avant-garde dining and cocktails converge. Moebius was ranked No. 38 in the world with Allario recently receiving the Creativity Prize from Identità Golose Guide.

10:15PM:
José Luis León of Licorería Limantour Mexico City – winner of World Class Mexico (2010 and 2021) global champion of the Tahona Society Cocktail Competition (2014) and third place in the Diplomatico World Tournament (2015). He leads Licorería Limantour consistently ranked among the world’s top 10 and named Best Bar in Latin America. León is also the visionary behind Baltra Bar and Xaman which helped define Mexico’s modern cocktail scene.
Sebastián Atienza of Tres Monos Buenos Aires – ranked No. 7 in the world and No. 1 in South America Tres Monos is both a bar and a cultural movement with a bartending school spirits line and advocacy for Argentina’s homegrown talent.

11:15PM:
Iain McPherson of Panda & Sons Edinburgh – recently ranked the No. 1 Most Influential Person on the Bar World 100 list. He has been named Innovator of the Year at the CLASS Bar Awards for three consecutive years and received the peer-voted Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024.
Holly Graham of Tokyo Confidential Japan – ranked No. 19 on the Bar World 100 and author of Cocktails of Asia Graham is an influential voice in shaping how Asian cocktail culture is seen globally.

From 12AM until 1AM closing:
The Aubrey together with The Orientalist will be serving Japanese highballs to end the night.
Together this diverse line-up transforms The Aubrey into a crossroads of talent from Latin America Europe Asia and the United States. Guests will have the rare chance to experience drinks and personalities that are shaping the global cocktail conversation.
Cocktails will be priced at HKD120+10% with complimentary snacks and canapés served until midnight. Admission will be first come first served guests will need to purchase tokens (1 token at HKD120+10% or bundle token at HKD500+10%) at the door for entry and drinks.
