About this Event
This exclusive tasting experience will focus on the world of Single Pot Still Whiskey, featuring exceptional releases from Ireland to Tasmania.
Date: Friday, May 9
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Russell’s Saloon, Dundalk
Tasting Lineup:
- Teeling Swedish Virgin Oak – 50% ABV
This unique single pot still whiskey is crafted from a 50/50 blend of triple-distilled malted and unmalted barley, then matured in virgin Swedish Oak casks. The Swedish Oak imparts rich, full-bodied flavors, creating a distinctive and exceptional Irish whiskey. - Clonakilty Virgin Oak by Stories and Sips – 53% ABV
A whiskey of firsts—this is the first Stories & Sips Whiskey Club release distilled in Cork, the first single cask release of Clonakilty’s own-distilled single pot still, and the first Clonakilty whiskey matured entirely in a new American oak cask. - Transportation Pot Still (Cork Whiskey Fest 2024 Edition) – 52% ABV
An award winning single pot still whiskey made in the Irish style, crafted using the best local Tasmanian ingredients. Made from a mixture of malted and unmalted barley, with optional grains such as oats, rye, or wheat, this whiskey offers wonderful complexity and depth. - Two Stacks Polaris 1.2 Edition – 58.2% ABV
Aged in ex-bourbon casks for 4 years and 11 months, followed by 14 months in a 220-litre French Oak cask from Ontario, Canada, previously used to age Cabernet Franc Ice Wine—adding a unique and elegant finish. - Midleton Cask Pull at Cask Strength
Drawn directly from a Midleton warehouse cask, this whiskey is non-chill filtered with no added color, delivering an authentic and unaltered cask strength experience. - Redbreast 2012 Cask Strength Edition
The second Cask Strength release in the Redbreast 12-Year-Old series, which debuted at Whisky Live Paris in 2011. A sought-after collector’s bottle, this release is highly coveted in the whiskey community.
Paul Kane will guide us through each whiskey, sharing insights into their unique characteristics. He will also provide an exclusive preview of Belfast Whiskey Week 2025, one of the world’s largest whiskey and spirits festivals.
Tickets are available at cost price for just €26 – a rare opportunity to taste these special whiskies.
