Step into the arena for World Clash, Memphis’s ultimate poetry tournament, where 20 of the city’s fiercest wordsmiths compete for glory and a cash prize. With three knockout rounds judged by a panel of three judges and scored live by the audience, every performance counts—and every vote matters.

What to Expect:

• Round 1 (20 → 4): All 20 poets take the stage. Judges eliminate six, then each judge and the crowd select two finalists.
• Round 2 (4 → 2): The four survivors perform again; judges and the crowd each advance one poet to the final showdown.
• Final Round (2 → 1): The last two poets face off. Scores from the judges and audience ballots are combined to crown the champion.

Prize Pot:

• Base prize pool: Changes every week. Starts at $50 the first week and then increases.
• Sell-Out Bonus: If we fill every seat, we’ll add $100 to the grand prize pool every week—so the winner could walk away with $550 on Sept 22!
