THE WOOL FARMER®️ — FROM FLEECE TO FIELD
📅 October 30, 2026
⏰ 9 AM–1 PM
🔥 Followed by a BBQ lunch
🌱$75 per person

Wool farming doesn’t stop at the fleece.
We’ll spend the morning walking through the when, why and where of wool—from the sheep, through processing, and right back into the soil.
We’ll cover:
🐑 Sorting and skirting for purpose
🧶 Mill processing vs. hand processing
🌿 Breeds that work hard for you—and why breed matters
🌱 Wool in the garden, orchard and growing spaces
♻️ Ways to think about the whole fleece, including fiber that may never become yarn
The door to wool farming has never been closed—but not everyone has been shown how many ways wool can work.
Whether you’re a market gardener, homesteader, shepherd, fiber artist or large-production grower, wool has a place at every scale.
Come spend the morning with us exploring wool not simply as a fiber, but as an agricultural resource—from fleece to field and back to the land.
