Join us for a conversation with author and naturalist Stephen Lyn Bales as he returns to ORPL to discuss his latest book, Appalachia: We Live in a Wonderland. We will hear some of nature’s odd stories including the romance of Heron mating pairs, the mysterious ways of ravens, weird and wacky slime molds, and Squirrel Basics 101. Stephen is a natural storyteller whose love of Appalachia is infectious. Stephen is also the featured presenter at UT Arboretum's monthly Zoom presentation, The First Thursday Nature Supper Club.
