Event Description:
Join us for a spirited day of chess at The Coffee Builders, where strategy, coffee, and camaraderie meet in a USCF-rated tournament! Whether you’re an experienced player or an enthusiastic challenger, the Coffee Builders Chess Open promises to be a fun and competitive experience for players of all levels.

Details:

Date & Time: Saturday, December 15th, 2024. 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Age Group: Open to all players aged 12 and older.

Format: 4-round Swiss system tournament, with each round lasting 25 minutes per player with a 5 second delay(25/5).

USCF Rated: This tournament is US Chess Federation (USCF) rated, so your results will affect your national rating. The sections are Under 1000, 1000-1600, and 1600+.

Non-USCF Rated: Bughouse games will be available to play throughout the day for those who just want to drop in or try something new.

Entry Fee:

• $25 early registration (use code EARLY at checkout)

• $35 day of
• $15 Bughouse (use code BUG at checkout)

Prizes: Exciting prizes will be awarded for top finishers in various categories.

How to Register: Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure your spot! Click the link at the top of this description to complete your registration after you've paid the tournament fee on Eventbrite. Walk-ins are also welcome, but early registration guarantees a smooth start.
