Follow the yellow brick road...A cyclone rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog Toto are whisked away to the magical Land of Oz. Following the yellow brick road towards the Emerald City she encounters a Scarecrow, needing a brain; Tin Man, missing a heart; and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage, as well as the Wicked Witch of the West.
Join Dorothy and her friends on this fantastical quest to find the Wizard. Be swept away by timeless melodies like ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and ‘The Merry Old Land of Oz’ as the Auckland Phil performs Herbert Stothart’s orchestrations of Harold Arlen's iconic songs live in sync with the classic 1939 film at this truly Technicolor symphonic event.
