Swing into Christmas at our fabulous Winter Ball with the vintage sounds of the incomparable Intercontinentals - featuring chanteuse extraordinaire Louise Messenger and sax/clarinet maestro Duncan Hemstock, in the beautiful period dance hall at The Hammersmith Club. The Intercontinentals comprises six of today's finest swing and jazz musicians, hand-picked by Louise and Duncan!Doors open at 8pm and we'll kick off with a short, fun, introductory Charleston dance class for those who'd like to learn a few steps - taught by the lovely Romayne! No dance experience or partner required.
From 9pm you can warm up your dancing feet with vintage recorded sounds from the 1930s and 40s, or grab a drink at the bar and soak up the atmosphere, before the band's first set at 9.20pm! The party continues 'til midnight.
Dress to sparkle please - vintage/retro style, or smart modern.
Tickets - £20 (£18 concessions*) until 7th December, then £26. With reserved seat at a table - £5 extra. Reserved table of six including admission - £140. Reserved seats are at tables around the dance floor; all other seating - if available - is limited, and first-come-first-served.
Advance booking is required. Admission price includes optional beginners Charleston dance class.
