Workshop Description

The Winter Dance Workshop presented by The Creative Space is designed for those who approach dance as a serious pursuit, seeking artistic development in performance and technique. This event is a bold exploration of where concert dance is heading, and we are excited to be a part of this change. is an immersive event tailored exclusively for professional and pre-professional dance artists. This event brings together a distinguished faculty of seasoned experts, offering a unique opportunity to refine your craft, broaden your curiosities, and stimulate your passion for the art of dance.

Workshop Highlights

1. Multi-Faceted Faculty: Our esteemed instructors are luminaries in their fields, boasting decades of experience in the dance world. Prepare to receive unparalleled insights from these leaders that will inform your overall artistic development.

2. Rigorous Artistry: Dancers will be immersed in classes that will physically and mentally stretch their movement qualities, artistic choices, and technical proficiency. Each class will allow dancers the opportunity to receive personalized feedback that speaks directly to them.

3. Repertoire Exploration: Dancers will explore dance repertoire from each instructor’s portfolio as a way for dancers to build their artistic rigor. Choreographic works range in aesthetic, technique, and intention.

4. Artistic Dialogue: Dancers will engage in thought-provoking discussions during class to further investigate their artistic perspectives in dance. Everyone is encouraged to bring and share their experiences in hopes of making connections with other dancers in the space.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Everyone MUST fill out The Creative Space Media Release and Liability Form in order to attend.

Dancers Under age 18: Dancers under age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver in order to participate in The Winter Dance Intensive.

LATE ARRIVALS: Each class will have a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, OR CREDITS

FINAL NOTE: Should the event be canceled due to circumstances beyond The Creative Space's control, inclement weather or an Act of God, it will be rescheduled. Once the event is rescheduled, The Creative Space will notify all ticket purchasers via the email used to purchase their tickets of the rescheduled date. The email will consist of a link to the Event Attendance Form. All ticket purchases will have 72 hours to respond to the email by submitting an Event Attendance Form attendance to the email. Ticket purchasers who submit an Event Attendance Form after the 72-hour deadline will not be eligible for any of the following options listed below:

Participants who respond "ATTENDING" on their Event Attendance Form will attend the event at no extra cost. For participants who respond "NOT ATTENDING" on their Event Attendance Form, The Creative Space will refund 50% of the ticket purchase cost minus taxes and fees to the payment method used to purchase the ticket.
