The wines of the Loire

Dotted with stunning chateaux and long known as the playground of the kings, today the Loire is equally well known for its wines. Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, well-known wines of the Loire, are now staples at top restaurants. The region itself, however, is vastly diverse, comprised of 87 separate wine appellations. Join us to tase wines from Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and some lesser-known areas of this astonishing region. Veteran wine importer Patrick Allen, who has over 30 years of experience in the wine business, will guide the tasting. We will also enjoy a selection of carefully paired light hors d’oeuvres to elevate your tasting experience.
