The Wild Side of Sauvie Island with Lester Tsai

Join us for a nature walk on beautiful Sauvie Island which will focus on bird and wildlife photography. We hope to capture beautiful images in the early morning light of numerous species of waterfowl, raptors, and other wildlife who winter on Sauvie Island. We will meet at the Mudhen Parking Lot and Lester will give a brief talk on an assortment of topics including gear, technique, and settings, as well as other tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your camera and take amazing photos!

Pro Photo Supply's very own Sony representative, Dan Hawk, will also be offering gear for attendees to try out and get hands-on, in-the-field experience with, which will be available for pickup at our meeting point on the morning of this workshop. The details for this rental and list of available gear will be sent to the email used for registration, and you must reply to us with your gear request before Tuesday, November 12th.

Lester Tsai is an award-winning professional photographer from Portland, Oregon. After spending 10 years in Singapore opening and owning several companies, he moved back stateside to New York City before returning home to the Pacific Northwest and starting his photography business. This photo walk is limited to 20 spots with a minimum of 5 registered attendees needed. In the event the minimum isn't met, the session will be canceled and registered attendees will receive full refunds.

All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival at the meeting point for this event.

This event has limited space, as a result, registration is required for each attendee. If you are on the waitlist for this event, you will receive a notification, via email, if a space becomes available for you.
