Join us for a special screening of Whitest Kids U’ Know’s MARS, the long-awaited animated feature from the cult comedy troupe behind some of the most bizarre and beloved sketches of the 2000s.Follow Kyle, a reluctant contest winner who ditches his wedding for a trip to Mars, only to discover the mission is not what it promised. Stranded with a crew of total misfits, things spiral into absurd chaos as they face one ridiculous challenge after another.
MARS was conceived during the production of the original sketch series, often held in the same high regard as Saturday Night Live, Kids in the Hall and SCTV. Years later, a passionate fanbase helped bring the project to life and finally get it to the screen.
No stranger to the spotlight, troupe member Zach Cregger has become one of the most talked-about directors in Hollywood following the success of Barbarian and the award-nominated Weapons. MARS is directed and produced by filmmaker, animator and FX artist Sevan Najarian, whose credits include Mystery Science Theater, Adult Swim’s Children’s Hospital and a wide range of Channel 101 projects.
