Book by 28th February for £25 off this retreat!I’m excited to announce that my next retreat will be on Sunday 16th March at The Gasworks in Sudbury, Derbyshire, and will be focussed around the ‘gut-brain connection’
There’s an inextricable link between our gut health and our mental health – as the brain and digestive system communicate directly with each other, an imbalance in one can affect the other. Good gut health can positively affect our mental health and vice versa, so ensuring that we look after both is vitally important. Join me and some amazing facilitators as we explore a number of the ways in which we can support both our gut health and our mental health.
We’ll begin the day with a breathwork session from Louise of The SPXCE – in this session you will understand what rest means to you and how to engage with it. Going inward using down regulating practices and exploration through interoception, you’ll embrace a deeper connection to you, all while gaining a recharge for the body and mind.
We’ll then move into a kombucha workshop with Jules of The Plucky Pickle – kombucha is a fermented probiotic tea drink with many purported benefits, including supporting gut health and improving digestion. Jules will guide you through the process and you’ll leave the day with your own kombucha to take home!
After a light vegetarian lunch, Julie of Lotus Flow Yoga will lead us in a yoga class – not only can yoga help to reduce stress and improve mental health, but the poses used in this practice can aid in the improvement of gut health by stimulating digestion.
And to round off the day we’ll be guided by Roseanna Croft in a meditation designed to bring your energy into full alignment. Meditation helps you to understand the truth of your nature, bringing you into alignment with your body, mind & soul as well as offering a multitude of physical and mental health benefits.
